Who is Dr. Konuralp?
Cuneyt Konuralp, MD, LAc
He was borned in 1967 in Ankara, Turkey. He received Medical Doctor (MD) degree in 1990 at University of Ankara, School of Medicine; and then moved to Istanbul at the same year to start his Cardiovascular Surgery residency at Siyami Ersek Thoracic and Cardiovascular Surgery, which is the biggest heart surgery center of the country.
After completing his residency, he moved to Texas Heart Institute (Houston, TX, USA) for clinical fellowship. During his fellowship period, he mostly worked at “Cardiac Transplantation and Mechanical Circulatory Assist Device” Department, and increased his experience on the patients with severe heart failure. After completing his fellowship, he returned to Istanbul, and started to work as “Staff CV surgeon” at Siyami Ersek Thoracic and Cardiovascular Surgery Center. In 2008, he resigned from this duty to spend more time for his research studies in his private office.
In 2009, he received Acupuncture license (LAc) after completing his training at Yeditepe University. In 2018, he has received “Associate Professor” title on Cardiovascular Surgery.
He is a member of twenty-four medical societies (nineteen of them are international). Six of these societies elected him as fellow (“FICS”, “FCCP”, “FAHA”, “FESC”, “FACC”, and “FAAIM”), while two of them elected him as honorary and life-time fellow (“LFIBA”and “FABI”). He fulfilled “reviewer”, “Editorial Board Member”, “Publication Secretary” responsibilities in 12 different journals (six of these journals are indexed in SCI). He also served in the Organizing Committees of various national and international congresses.
He contributed to the medical literature by one book, three book chapters, and more than 60 scientific papers published in peer reviewed journals. He had more than 500 citations.
His biography was published in 12 different Biographical books. He has 14 different scientific and honorary awards by different organizations.
He also has a patented invention (by EPO), called “Segmental Coding System”. This is a special coding language that compresses all types of data in a formulative way. Although it is a coded format, everyone (from any language) can understand it, and the formulas can directly be entered to the computer system, as well.
Since year 2001, he received many trainings on Alternative and Complementary Medicine area in different countries throughout the World.
His works, trainings and credentials have been evaluated by different organizations, and he has been awarded with the “Alternative Medical Practitioner Board Certificate” by American Alternative Medicine Association (AAMA), and “Integrative Medicine Board Certificate” by American Association of Integrative Medicine (AAIM).
